Most recently, I was the EVP & Chief Commercial Officer at European Wax Center, a publicly-traded franchisor of beauty services and products for men and women. Among my team’s accomplishments were turning around a multi-year decline in new guest acquisition and growing new center sales 20% YoY. Previously, I established myself as a leader in the retail and digital consumer sector traversing financial services, telecom, media, fashion, and beauty.
At Yahoo, my global, cross-functional team and I introduced new e-commerce and advertising revenue streams that were instrumental in Verizon’s sale of Yahoo to private equity group, Apollo. For the Verizon retail business, in addition to driving overall revenues, we launched an entirely new store concept, “Verizon Express,” that leverages technology in driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Earlier, I moved down the inverted pyramid (where that actually means getting promoted) at Nordstrom and later served as SVP & GM of Digital at Hudson’s Bay Company. At Hudson’s Bay, I owned the P&Ls for Canada’s the bay.com, HBC’s fastest growing property, and lordandtaylor.com where I oversaw product, operations, merchandising, and marketing. At Nordstrom, I gained leadership experience in beauty customer experience and marketing, women’s apparel merchandising, and building and re-building nascent divisions. This success is how I earned the role of CEO & Member of the Board of Directors at Sole Society, where I replaced the founder and built the fashion brand and organization with a mandate to turn around the business across marketing, technology, and supply chain.
I earned an MBA with honors from Columbia University and a BA in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University. I’m an active Forbes Contributor covering e-commerce, marketing, and retail experience. I’ve also been a frequent event speaker and podcast guest on topics including organizational leadership, digital transformation, and corporate intrapreneurship.
